Squimbo on Discord desktop and mobile
Squimbo is a Discord Activity. You launch it from the Discord client on desktop or mobile. There is no separate installer for the game itself.
Same product, Discord clients
Whether you are on desktop or mobile Discord, you join voice, open Activities, and launch Squimbo. Display names and avatars come from Discord.
No extra game download
The marketing site explains the game. The night happens inside Discord. You do not install a standalone Squimbo app from an app store to play.
Mixed clients on one call
Some people can be on desktop Discord and others on mobile. Everyone opens Squimbo in the same voice channel so they share one Activity instance.
If something fails to load
Wait until Discord has finished connecting to voice, leave and reopen the Activity, and ask everyone to refresh so you share one session.
FAQ
Is there an iOS or Android Squimbo app?
No. Squimbo runs as a Discord Activity inside the Discord mobile and desktop clients.
Can mixed desktop and mobile play together?
Yes. Everyone opens Squimbo in the same voice channel. The Activity instance is the room.
Do I need a powerful phone?
You need a working Discord client and a voice connection. Squimbo itself is a short party loop inside that Activity.
